Troubleshooting

Problem
The motor does not start
Motor switches off
The lawnmower runs jerkily or
vibrates heavily.
Mowing is difficult or the motor
runs heavily
The blade does not rotate
The mown grass is not collected
correctly.

Possible cause
The rechargeable battery is empty.
The rechargeable battery is faulty.
The safety key is not inserted.
The start bar was lifted without
pressing the release button.
The release button or start bar is
faulty
Carbon brushes worn out
The motor is faulty
The grass is too long
Blockage due to foreign objects
The cutting blade is damaged.
The cutting blade is loose.
The cutting blade is blunt.
The rechargeable battery is faulty.
The cutting height is not suitable for
the grass height.
The blade area is blocked
The blade is installed incorrectly
The blade is blocked by grass
The blade screw is loose
The grass collection box is blocked.
The grass discharge is blocked.
The grass is too wet.

Rectification
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Replace the rechargeable battery.
Insert the safety key (see the
"Switching the lawnmower on/off"
chapter).
Press and hold the lock button when
lifting the lock bar (see the "Switching
the lawnmower on/off" chapter).
Repair by the service centre
Set a longer cutting height. Press the
upper bar (1) to lift the front wheels
slightly.
Remove foreign objects
Replace the cutting blade (see the
"Replacing the cutting blade" chapter).
Check that the cutting blade is tight
and, if necessary, tighten the fastening
screw (see the "Replacing the cutting
blade" chapter).
Have the cutting blade sharpened or
replace it.
Replace the rechargeable battery.
Set a more suitable cutting height (see
the "Adjust cutting height" chapter).
Clean the device
Install the blade correctly
Remove the grass
Tighten the blade screw
Remove the grass collection box and
empty it (see the "Emptying the grass
collection box" chapter).
Clean the grass discharge with a long
brush or a similar, suitable item.
Only mow dry grass.
