Before first use

Check the lawnmower and the items supplied

Risk of damage!
Opening the packaging carefully can damage the
lawnmower.
- Do not use any sharp objects when opening.
1. Remove the lawnmower from the packaging.
2. Check whether the contents are complete:
Cordless lawnmower and top bar
Bottom bar
Grass collection box
2 cable holders
2 star grip nuts and screws to attach the bottom
bar
2 quick clamps with washers and nuts to attach
the top bar
1 x rechargeable battery
Charging device
Operating instructions
3. Check whether the lawnmower or the individual parts
is/are damaged. If this is the case, do not use the
lawnmower. Contact the manufacturer at the service
address specified on the guarantee card.

Assembly

• Only carry out tasks that you are confident with.
• If you are unsure, contact a specialist or our custo-
mer service department directly.
Switch the device off, remove the safety key (6)
and wait until the blade comes to a standstill.
• The lawnmower can be operated with either one
or two rechargeable batteries. You can obtain a
second rechargeable battery for a longer usage
period. (See "Spare parts")
Installing the bottom bar (Fig. 2)
1. Insert the correct bolts on the device housing (11)
into the holes at the end of the bottom bar (4).
2. Insert the screws (14) through the housing (11) from
the inside and fasten the bottom bar (4) using the
star grip nuts.
Installing the top bar (Fig. 3)
1. Attach the top bar (1) to the left and right of the bottom
bar (4) using the quick clamps, washers and nuts (3)
supplied. The release button (18) must be on the
right side when facing the mowing direction.
2. Lock the quick clamp (3) by pushing it towards the
bar (3). The clamping lever must touch the bar so
that clamping requires moderate force.
3. Clipping in the cable holders: Clip the cable hol-
ders (16) to the top (1) and bottom (4) bar, and use
them to secure the device cable (17).
Folding up the guide bar
Loosen the two quick clamps (3) and fold up the top bar
(1) so that the device requires less space. The device
cables must not get jammed (Fig. 3)

Using the grass collection box (Fig. 5)
1. Ensure that the safety key (6) is removed.
