Connect ISDN terminal devices – to connect ISDN terminal devices
(ISDN telephones or ISDN PBXs) to the LANCOM VoIP Router, plug in one
end of the supplied ISDN cable (light-blue connectors) to an ISDN inter-
face in NT mode. When shipped, the ISDN interfaces marked with
set up in NT (internal) mode. Connect the other end of the ISDN cable to
the ISDN terminal device.
Please heed the notices about configuring the ISDN interfaces (?page
53).
Configuration interface – optionally, the router can be connected
directly to the serial interface (RS-232, V.24) of a PC. Use the connection
cable supplied for this. Connect the LANCOM configuration interface
to an available serial interface on the PC.
Optionally, an external analog or GPRS modem can be connected to the
device's serial interface with the LANCOM Modem Adapter Kit, so ena-
bling tasks such as remote maintenance, backup connections or Dynamic
VPN to be implemented over an additional WAN connection.
