An entry 'r' or 'r/w' means that the implementation of the particular register is mandatory in order for the congatec battery management solution to function properly. An empty entry means that the particular register is optional and may be implemented by the SBSM for completeness.

    G3 state to minimize power consumption. Therefore, congatec has defined two bits 'S3' and 'S5' in the smart battery register OptionalMfgFunction3. These bits are used to signal the SBSM (Smart Battery System Manager) whether it may additionally switch off the system standby power after the main system power has been switched off.
