Using the Configuration Option

The Configuration screen allows the user to reboot the device or restore the device to
factory default values. Field descriptions follow the screen example.

Allows the user to enter a favorite frequency (in MHz) for the initial scan
Saves changes to the Favorite Frequency.
Numbers the downstream channels.
Displays if the device is locked successfully to a downstream channel.
Displays the modulation method required for the downstream channel to lock on to
by the device. This method is determined by the service provider.
Displays the downstream channel frequency on which the device is locked.
Displays the receiver power level in decibel millivolts (dBmV) after ranging process.
Displays the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in decibels (dB), the desired signal level to
the background noise level.
Displays the symbol rate in 1000 symbols per second.
Displays the quantity of codewords which are correctable.
Displays the quantity of codewords which are uncorrectable.
Numbers the upstream channels.
Displays if the EVW32C succeeded in locking to an upstream channel.
Displays the channel type.
Displays the symbol rate in 1000 symbols per second.
Displays the current upstream frequency in hertz.
Displays the current upstream transmit power in decibel millivolts (dBmV).
