Transmission oil inspection
1. Stop the engine and set the tiller
on a firm level ground with the
rear wheels and tines as shown.
2. Remove the oil filler cap and
check that the oil is level with the
lower edge of the oil filler hole.

3. Add the recommended oil if the level is low.
Recommended oil:
SAE 10W-30 Honda 4stroke oil, or an equivalent high detergent
premium quality motor oil, certified to meet or exceed US
automobile manufacturer's requirements for API service category
SE or later (or equivalent). (Motor oil category SE will show this
designation on the container.)
4. Reinstall the oil filler cap securely.
