Places: Search for a starred location
on the map.
" " (Map appli) is an application of
docomo map navi service. You can use the
location information and view present location
or specified location, search for surrounding
information, navigate to the destination, etc.
It is necessary to enable location information
services ([Use wireless networks] or [Use GPS
satellites]) to measure the present location
(nP. 80).

Compass
Display a map or compass to check your
location or the direction that the FOMA terminal
is headed to.
There are two modes for checking: a compass
mode which shows the direction of the FOMA
terminal with a compass and a map mode which
shows the direction of the FOMA terminal with an
azimuth icon on map.
To display maps, enable data connection or
connect to Wi-Fi.
Enable location information services ([Use
wireless networks] or [Use GPS satellites]) in
advance to measure the present location
(nP. 80).

Needle rotates in accordance with the
direction of the FOMA terminal.
In accordance with the tilt of the FOMA terminal,
flat display and birds-eye display are switched.
3 Map window
The way of reading the map is the same as in
the map mode screen.
Touch the map to switch to the map mode.
4 Angle
Display the angle from North to the front of the
FOMA terminal.
