7.12 To calibrate the pump

The pump has already been precisely adjusted in the factory.
However, the device will operate even more precisely if it is cali-
brated. Calibration eliminates any variances caused by supply
lines, back-pressure and viscosity.
Calibration can be used to adjust the pump flow rate by ±20%.
Set up system
Take an accurate measurement of the flow rate or metering
volume
Use the control knob to make the required menu selection [Cal.
100.0%]
Input the measured actual value with the control knob and
confirm (see Fig. 44)
Check the calibration with a repeat measurement.
The calibration function uses the specified flow setting as the
target value. This means the pump can always be calibrated for
the current operating point.
If the target flow rate still cannot be achieved after several calibra-
tion attempts, see "Troubleshooting" (Chapter 12).
