7. Handset registration

The Handset supplied with your
is pre-registered at the factory so that your phone
will be ready for use out-of-box.
To check whether a Handset is registered, make
sure mains power to the Base unit is switched on and
the Handset is within transmitting range. The
Handset LCD screen should show its number and the
'antenna' icon.
However, in case the Handset accidentally lost link to
the Base unit, you need to re-register the Handset.
WARNING:
You should not register the Handset/s unless the
Handset has lost registration.

Press DOWN button until
REGISTER
option is highlighted.
Press soft button
Select

PIN CODE
Key in 4 digit PIN code (default = 0000).
Press soft button to confirm
ok
display shows
SEARCHING
Simultaneously, press and hold PAGE button on the
Base unit until the 'In Use' LED indicator lights up.
If the registration is successful, the LCD screen will
display:
and then shows the standby display .
SUCCESS
If the registration has failed, the LCD screen will
display:
and then shows
BS SEARCH
FAILED
and the icon will be flashing. Repeat the
registration process again.
Note: You can register up to four Handsets on the Base unit.
