instructions carefully before installing and operating the garage door. Pay
close attention to all warnings and notes. After installation is complete,
fasten this manual near garage door for easy reference.

Attaching (WL) Jamb Brackets To Vertical INSTRUCTIONS Tracks Before installing your door, be certain that you have read and followed all of the instruc- tions covered in the pre-installation section of this manual. - Page 5 IMPORTANT: DO NOT MOUNT THE STEP PLATE HIGHER THAN 6” FROM THE BOTTOM OF the bottom section, so that the lower (#) hinge leaf is over the pre-punched holes in the end stile. Stacking Sections Adjusting Top Fixtures NOTE: The sections can be identified by the graduation of the installed graduated end hinges. With horizontal tracks installed, you can now adjust the top fixtures. Adjust counterbalance lift cables to create about 1” to 2” (25 mm to 50 mm) of initial exten- Spring restraint cable sion spring stretch, with the door in the fully opened position. Measure relaxed extension Rear spring length for your door height and verify with the chart below. Spring length must be the back same for both extension springs to allow even door balance. -
