8.2

Ring Options

8.2.1 Changing the Ring Pattern

There are eight different ring patterns, which alter the tone and style of ringing
used by the 5410. The number of rings will still vary according to whether the call
is from an internal extension or an external direct call.
1. Press any

Ring Pattern. A menu with the current ring pattern appears.

4. Select a ringing pattern by either using the
a number between 1 and 8 on the keypad. You will hear the selected
ringing pattern.
5. To hear the ringing pattern again, press
the keypad.
6. When you have selected a ringing pattern, press
a two beep confirmation tone and be returned to the options menu.
7. Press Cancel to return to the options menu without changing the ring
pattern.

8.2.2 Setting the Incoming Call Light

This is a toggle option; when set to Yes, the light will flash when you receive a
call. Changing this option does not affect the light for indicating received
messages.
