General

The powerful quartz patio heater 2000 W is a universal appliance for use outdoors. Simply
pull the cord so that a pleasant heat can be built up and given off to the surroundings thanks
to the three, separately selectable quartz heating tubes. The appliance can be adjusted
for both height and at the heating head. Thanks to the stable base and tip prevention, it is
especially convenient and safe in use. No matter whether in private use such as gardens,
terraces or camp sites - this radiant heater always allows you to provide pleasant heat for
you and your guests without spoiling a cozy atmosphere.

The type plate of the quartz patio heater with all relevant technical data is attached on the
rear of the appliance.

Area of application and intended use

The quartz patio heater is constructed according to the state of the art and the recognized
rules of technology. Nevertheless, improper use or use other than that intended can result
in hazards to the life and limb of the user or third parties or damage to the appliance itself
and/or other tangible assets.
This electrical radiant heater is suitable for heating the ambient air and is designed for use
indoors as well as outdoor areas protected from the weather. The heat is generated by
three separately selectable heating tubes and given off to the immediate vicinity.
A different use or a use extending beyond this is deemed to be improper. The user
shall bear the risk. Proper and correct use also includes observance of the ope-
rating and installation notes as well as compliance with the maintenance terms.

Product safety

In order to avoid potential hazards in advance, the following safety devices have been
installed by the manufacturer as standard:
Tip prevention
The tip prevention is triggered as soon as the appliance exceeds a definite angle of incli-
nation. At the same time, the appliance switches off automatically. To start operating the
appliance again, this must be returned to a vertical position.
