Mechanical connector - Visual inspection (J.80.C.66 - F.40.A.10)

435, 445, 445CT

1. Inspect the coupler frame (1) to be sure it is free of
cracks, corrosion, rust or any other damage. Use
new parts as required.
2. Inspect the upper pins (13) and the lower pins (14)
for wear, cracks, corrosion or any other damage.
Use new parts as required.
3. Inspect the hook wedges (12) for wear and damage.
Use new parts as required.
4. Inspect the cylinders (6) for leaks, wear or any other
damage. Use new parts as required.
