Our stair lift isn’t working. I have tried to reset the switch. But there were several beeps. This lift is in a building that gets quite cold. We have heat at the bottom of the lift, but we think the batteries may have lost power an may need to be replaced, is there something else I should check. Can I get a service call and have someone come out and check the system as it has been in for 2 years

If your AmeriGlide RAVE stair lift is not working and beeping, check the following:
1. Ensure there are no obstructions in the lift’s path.
2. Verify that the swivel seat is locked in the riding position.
3. Check if the power cord is plugged into a 115 VAC outlet.
4. Inspect for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker at the main circuit box.

If the lift still does not operate, contact your local authorized AmeriGlide dealer for immediate service.

The clacking noise near the top of the AmeriGlide RAVE stairlift may be caused by misalignment issues. For example, in one review, a joint between two rail sections did not align properly, causing a clicking or clacking sound when the chair passed over it. Another customer mentioned a slight clicking noise after one year of use, possibly indicating wear or alignment problems. Inspecting the rail alignment or contacting the dealer for support may help resolve the issue.
