Move the cursor backward a number of
characters
F6 Move the cursor back "nn" characters from current cursor
position.
Syntax = F6nn where nn is the numeric value (00-99) for the
number of characters the cursor should be moved back.
Move the cursor to the beginning
F7 Move the cursor to the first character in the input message.
Syntax = F7.
FE and F7 Example: Manipulatebar codes that begin with a
1
Search for bar codes that begin with a 1. If a bar code
matches,move the cursor back to the beginning of the data and
send 6 characters fol-lowed by a carriage return. Using the bar
code above:Command string: FE31F7F2060D
FE is the "Compare characters" command
31 is the hex value for 1
F7 is the "Move the cursor to the beginning" command
F2 is the "Send a number of characters" command
06 is the number of characters to send
0D is the hex value for a CR
The data is output as: 123456
<CR>
Move the cursor to the end
EA Move the cursor to the last character in the input message.
Syntax = EA.
