TRAP ADJUSTMENTS (CONT)
HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL
TARGET ANGLE ADJUSTMENTS
• CHANGING HORIZONTAL FLIGHT ANGLES
(FIG 12).
Minor changes in horizontal direction of flight can
be controlled by placing target at different positions
under the Target Clip (F) on the Throwing Arm (A)
(FIG 12). Place target in the center position for center
(straight ahead), outer position for right, and inner for
left. Major changes to the horizontal direction of the
target is achieved by repositioning the entire Trap/
Tripod assembly.
• CHANGING VERTICAL FLIGHT ANGLES
Changes to the vertical direction of target flight is
achieved by pivoting the Trap Body (B) up or down.
To rotate the trap up or down, loosen the 12MM X
40 MM lg. Hex Head Bolt (K-1) on the Pivot Mount (C)
and rotate the trap to the desired elevation and then
retighten the bolt (K-1).
MOUNTING TRAP FOR RABBIT
TARGETS
In order to throw Rabbit targets, the trap needs to
be mounted on the right side of the Tripod Stand so
the rabbit target can be rolled on its edge along the
ground (FIG 13).
To remount the trap onto the side of the Tripod to
throw rabbit targets, remove the three M8 Wing Nuts
(J-6) securing the Top Mount Pivot Plate (J-5) to the
Leg Top Plate (J-4). Turn the Top Mount Pivot Plate 90
degrees so that the trap will be on the right side of
the Tripod when mounted (when viewed from behind
the trap). Place the Top Mount Pivot Plate (J-5) back
onto the Leg Top Plate (J-4) and replace the three M8
Wing Nuts (J-6) and tighten. Place target under Target
Clip (F) and experiment throwing targets. Target Clip
(F) must be used to throw rabbit targets.
WARNING: WHEN OPERATING A SIDE
MOUNTED TRAP, STAY CLEAR OF THROWING ARM
PATH. MAKE SURE THROWING ARM CLEARS THE
GROUND WHEN FIRED.
