Cancel Function during Multiple Measurements: Button

When the unit is in the multiple measurement operating mode, the process can be
<3>
cancelled by pressing the button
without the specified number of measurements
having to be completely executed.
Article Selection Function for Article Database: Button <5>
(only usable together with the "Article Database32" option
After pressing the button
< 5
>, a number sequence from 1-99999999999 can be manually
entered with the number buttons in the following "Article selection" screen and accepted with
<Store>.
The entered number sequence is then compared immediately with
the code contents of the Article Database 32 files loaded in the unit.
If the entered number sequence is found in the article database, the
file contents specified for the display are shown on the display.
If the entered number sequence is not found in the article database,
the "Article not found" error message occurs.
Aperture Selection Function: Button

Before a measurement, the aperture can be quickly changed over from the start
screen -
without going into the menu functions - by pressing the button
< 6 >
multiple times; the aperture is
switched from 6 mil to 8 mil to 10 mil and then back to 6 mil, for example.
RESET FUNCTION
The unit can be restarted from the ground up
with the reset function. This can be necessary if the
unit no longer responds to the pressing of buttons, the screen
appears to be frozen and the unit cannot be deactivated.
The RESET button is located underneath the battery compartment
directly on the circuit board below. In orderto be able to activate it,
the knurled screw forfastening the battery compartment must be
removed and the battery compartment carefully taken off. There is
a micro-switch with a rubber capat the location indicated on the
diagram. By lightly pressing down with a fingertip or a ballpoint pen tip, you will feel the switch-click
with which a RESET is triggered (see Chapter 4.4.2).
