  • Page 5 Instruction manual GENERAL POWER-VOICE PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.1 Automatic power mixer with two power amplifiers (1. AMP 400W and 2. AMP 100W), especially developed for uses in difficult acoustic buildings (architectural acoustics). The PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.1 is used in places, where most of the other devices generate no positive results or where a complete „rack“ with system components would have to be built up to achieve a reasonable acoustic result.

  • Page 29 SETTINGS FOR COMPRESSOR/EXPANDER FUNCTION Each input channel 1 to 8 of the PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.1 is equipped with a compressor expander system. The control possibilities for the compressor and expander are located under the upper, small cover of the amplifier. By turning the corresponding trimmers, the settings for compressor resp.
  • Page 30 Please carry the installation out from point 2 of the installation description. After the USB connection between PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.1 system and the PC, the computer reports a new device in the system and the programm automatically obtains a new „COM-Port“ (this may take several seconds).

To be able to use it correctly and to use all technical possibilities which offers the automatic mixing amplifier PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.1., you have to carry out a room adaption resp. room equalization after the installation.
  • Page 58 The green curve shows the recommended reproduction curve for speech amplification systems. The automatic mixing amplifier PV-DSP-4ACD.9.4.1 (POWER VOICE) serie has 10 parametric input EQs and each output 5-point parametric EQ. Thus even acoustically difficult rooms can be equalized very well and the microphone sensitivity can be raised without parasitic feedback.
