Bottom Components

The following is a brief description of your
LifeBook notebook's bottom panel components.
(Figure 2-7)
Lithium ion Battery Bay
The battery bay contains the internal Lithium ion
battery. It can be opened for the removal of the
battery when stored over a long period of time or
for swapping a discharged battery with a charged
Lithium ion battery.
Subwoofer
The subwoofer speaker provides bass-range
sound to supplement the stereo speakers,
resulting in high-quality audio.

Air Vents
The air vents are used to cool the system to
prevent overheating.
Do not obstruct the air vents while the system
is running; doing so could cause your system
to overheat.
Memory Upgrade Compartment
Your Tablet PC comes with high speed
Synchronous Dynamic RAM (SDRAM). The
memory upgrade compartment allows you to
expand the system memory capacity of your
Tablet PC, hence improving overall performance.
