To begin playing a disc or resume play after another playback
mode, press this button.
!REJECT!
Terminates playback.

PAUSE (II)

Stops playback temporarily.
Pause is released when the PLAY button is pressed.

This button functions the same as the SCAN button of the main
player .

STILL/STEP

Functions only during CAV disc playback.
Functions the same as the STILL/STEP button of the main player.
!MULTI!
Functions only during CAV disc playback.
When the MULTI FWD button is pressed, the picture moves for-
ward. When the REV button is pressed, it reverses direction.
The playback mode is restored when the PLAY button is pressed.
When the SPEED UP or DOWN button is pressed, the speed will
be indicated. Set the multi-speed while the indication is being dis-
played.
[Speed Selection]
When power is turned on "x 1" is selected.
Using the "UP" and "DOWN" , selection of
9
speeds is possible.
During the time the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons are being
pressed, the speed is displayed on the screen.

The selected speed is remembered even when another playback
mode is selected.
During playback modes other than multi-speed mode, the player
can also accept "UP" and "DOWN" button operations, so the
speed of multi-speed playback can be set in advance.
NOTE:
• During multi-speed playback, the audio sound is canceled.
• When the MULTI button is pressed during CL V disc playback,
"CL V" appears on the screen to indicate that speed selection
does not function.
• Both PAL and NTSC modes are available for the speed data.
!AUDIO!
Used to select the audio channel.
