Individualisation
Using individualisation, you can fine-tune LIN-
GUATRONIC to your own voice and thus
improve voice recognition.
Individualisation can only be started when the
vehicle is stationary. After starting the ses-
sion, the system leads you through the train-
ing using voice instructions.
i
If individualisation is activated, it may
affect the voice-recognition quality of other
users. Switch off individualisation if it
impairs the voice-recognition quality of
other users.
Individualisation in English comprises two
parts. You train the system to recognise digits
in the first part and specific commands in the
second part.

Individualisation in Japanese comprises one
part in which you individualise the system for
digits and specific commands.
The system can be reset to the factory set-
tings at any time.
i
Individualisation in English does not need
to be completed in full. Even training in the
digits will result in a significant improve-
ment in the recognition rate. The training
can be stopped after the first part.
