"Zoom in completely" or "Zoom out
completely"
You can use these commands to set the map
display directly to the smallest or largest
scale.
Map direct scale
You can use the following commands, e.g.
"100 m scale", to enter the scale for map view
directly.
The following settings are possible:
50 m, 100 m, 200 m, 500 m
R
1 km, 2 km, 5 km
R
10 km, 20 km, 50 km
R
100 km, 200 km
R

"Compass"

You can use this command to view the com-
pass in the display.

"Change map direction"

This function is only available in 2D mode.
You can use this command to switch the
map's orientation between north up and
heading up.

"Map north up"

This function is only available in 2D mode.
You can use this command to set the map's
orientation to north up.
"Map heading up"

This function is only available in 2D mode.
You can use this command to set the map's
orientation to heading up.
"2D mode"
You can use this command to view the map
in 2D.
"3D mode"
You can use this command to view the map
in 3D.
Switching the display during route guid-
ance
You can switch between different views
whilst route guidance is active.
The following views are possible:
Show total route

Show route guide display

Hide route guide display
R
Display highway facility map
R
Hide highway facility map
R
Display metropolitan highway map
R
Hide metropolitan highway map

VICS commands
VICS (Vehicle Information and Communica-
tion System) allows your vehicle to be sup-
plied with real-time information about traffic
disruptions. This information is shown in the
display as text or graphics.
The following commands are possible:
"Show VICS highway info"

"Hide VICS highway info"

"Show VICS public road info"
R
"Hide VICS public road info"
R
"Show VICS all road info"
R
"Hide VICS all road info"

"Show VICS traffic congestion map"

"Hide VICS traffic congestion map"

"Show VICS uncongested road map"

"Hide VICS uncongested road map"

"Show restriction info"

"Hide restriction info"

"Traffic jam"
R
LINGUATRONIC asks whether you would
like the map area around the traffic jam to
be displayed.
