Rear Brake Adjustment - Honda V45 Magna 1982 Owner's Manual

REAR BRAKE
Adj ustment :
1 . Place the motorcy cle on it s center
stand .
2 . The stopper bolt ( I ) is provid ed to
allow adj ustment o f the pedal heigh t .
To adj ust t h e p e d a l height , loosen the
lock nut ( 2 ) and turn the st o p p e r bolt .
Tighten the lock nut .
3 . M e asure the dist an ce the rear b rake
pedal ( 3 ) moves b e fore the b rake st art s
to take hold .
( 1 ) Stop per bolt
( 3 ) Rear brake pedal
( 2 ) Lock nut
Free play should be 2 0 - 30 mm ( 3 / 4 -
1 - 1 /4 in ) . If adjust ment i s n e cessary .
turn the rear b rake adjustin g nut ( 4 )
NOTE:
(A) Decrease free p lay
(4 ) Adj u sting n u t
(B) Increase free play
