II. Dealer Sales/Service Authorization
A. Technician/System Engineer
To become authorized and maintain authorization to service a Color
imageRUNNER device, each Authorized Reseller's location must have at least
one employee who has successfully completed the appropriate Color
imageRUNNER device Training Program and received certified status.
III. Educational Training
A. Overview
The Color imageRUNNER C3380 Series eLearning Course provides the
technician with the knowledge required for installing, upgrading, servicing, and
maintaining the Color imageRUNNER C3480/C3080/C2550 in the field.
This course will focus on basic features and functions, functional systems,
accessories, disassembly and component identification, servicing procedures
and troubleshooting tips.
B. Who Should Complete
All technicians who will be installing, servicing or supporting Color
imageRUNNER C3480/C3080/C2550 units should complete this course.
Note: In keeping with our current support policy, only those technicians who
have currently completed or who are enrolled in the training program will be
entitled to live, phone-based support through or Technical Support Center
(TSC). Self-Service Support (software downloads, knowledgebase, support
forums, technical publications) will continue to be available through our e-
Support website for all technicians (refer to Technical Support section for
entitlement details).
C. Prerequisite
The prerequisites for the Color imageRUNNER C3380 Series eLearning
Course are:
