Remove the retaining screw from the metal shield. Slide
the metal shield in the direction of the arrow marked on
the cover, then remove the shield.

Unpack the SIMM. Avoid touching the connection points
along its edge.

Locate the PostScript SIMM slot

on the control board. They are not interchangeable.

Hold the SIMM so that the notch
points
are aligned with the slot as shown.

Insert the SIMM all the way into the connector at a 30
angle, and rotate it down until it snaps into place.
