Mobile Networks
Control mobile data, data roaming, or set access point names for data access (see

Wi-Fi Hotspot
Turn the Wi-Fi hotspot on or off and configure its settings (see Connecting to Networks
and Devices – Sharing Your Mobile Data Connection – Sharing Mobile Data Through a
Wi-Fi Hotspot).
Data Usage
• Data saver: Turn Data Saver on or off, which prevents apps from using a data
connection in the background. Apps you are currently using can access data, but may
do so less frequently. You can tap Unrestricted data access to enable some apps to
always have data connection access, even when Data Saver is enabled.
• Cellular data: Turn mobile data on or off.
• Cellular data usage: Check how much data has been used during the time cycle
you set, see which apps have been using mobile data, restrict background data for
individual apps, or allow individual apps to have unrestricted data usage when Data
Saver is on.
