Settings
• Billing cycle: Set the reset date of the data usage cycle, and set the mobile data
warning and limit.
• Wi-Fi data usage: View the Wi-Fi data usage of apps.
• Network restrictions: Select Wi-Fi networks that are metered. Apps may warn before
using these networks for large downloads to avoid high mobile data bills.
NOTE: Data usage is measured by your phone. Your carrier's data usage accounting
may differ.
Airplane Mode
In Settings, tap More > Airplane mode to enable or disable airplane mode.
USB Tethering
In Settings, tap More > USB tethering to share your phone's mobile data connection
with a PC via USB (see Connecting to Networks and Devices – Sharing Your Mobile Data
Connection – Sharing Your Mobile Data Connection via USB).
VPN
In Settings, tap More > VPN to set up and connect to virtual private networks (see
Connecting to Networks and Devices – Connecting to Virtual Private Networks).
Network Settings Reset
In Settings, tap More > Network settings reset to reset all network settings, including
Wi-Fi, cellular data, and Bluetooth.

Device

Display
• Brightness level: Set the brightness of the display.
• Adaptive brightness: Automatically adjust screen brightness.
• Wallpaper: Select a background image or animation for the home screen or lock screen.

• Sleep: Set the length of time of inactivity before the screen turns off automatically.
• Jump to camera: Tap to enable/disable this feature, which allows you to quickly open
the Camera app without unlocking your screen.
• Screen saver: Manage the Screen saver function, which can display colors or photos
when the phone is docked or charging.
• Ambient display: Tap to enable/disable this feature, which causes the screen to wake
when you receive notifications.
• Font size: Set the font size of the text on the screen.
• Display size: Adjust the display size of fonts, icons, and images.
• When device is rotated: Select whether the screen display should rotate when the
phone is rotated.
• Pulse notification light: When enabled, the Indicator light flashes to notify you of
missed calls, new messages, and other events.
Notifications
Control the display of notifications.
• Tap
> On the lock screen to enable/disable notification display on the lock screen.
• Tap an app to control its notifications. You may turn its notifications off, allow them in
Do not disturb mode, allow popup display, or hide content on the lock screen.
NOTE: The notifications of some apps cannot be turned off. Content hiding is available
only if you have set a pattern, PIN, or password screen lock.
Sound
Adjust different types of volume (see Personalizing – Adjusting Volumes), toggle
notification mode (see Personalizing – Switching Notification Mode – Switching to Silent or
Vibration Mode), control Do not disturb mode (see Personalizing – Using Do Not Disturb
Mode), set ringtone and notification sound (see Personalizing – Changing the Ringtone and
Notification Sound), set default alarm sound, or select system sounds (see Personalizing –
Turning System Sounds On/Off).
