above the push-buttons
and consists
of five red
i_
n dex pointed
tabs that slide
on a
horizontal
bar.
The
left
tab corresponds
LO the left pushbutton,
lhe second
lab to the
left
to
the
second
pushbutton to the left,
ctc.
The
stations
may
be
pre-
selected
in
accordance with
the following procedure:
1.
Warm up
radio at
least ten minutes.
In
sub-zero
weather
aJlow
thirty minutes
or more.
2. Move manual
control
knob
to
position
of best
recep-
tion
of
favorite
station
nearest left
end of
dial
.
3. Open
hinged
plate to
gain
access
to
favorite
station
selector tabs and,
as
accurately as
possible, move left
red index tab until lip
of tab
lines up with the dial
pointer.
4. Select the next favorite
station to
the right
and
push
the second
tab
so
that it now lines up
with
the
pointer.
5.
This procedure should be
followed
umil all five
tions
are selected
in
order
to
the right and all
arc
properly positioned.
The bUllons should now
a
matically tunc in the desired
stations and
this
can
checked by
pushing
each
bunon to
see if
it
,elects
station which you
have
set
up
by the
tab.
If the
tion
is not tuned in
accurately, slide
the tab

to
the
left
or
right until the

station.
