The DB9000-TX mounts in a standard 19-inch equipment rack and requires only 1¾ inches

(1U) of vertical rack space. The use of plastic washers is recommended to protect the painted finish

around the mounting holes.

Having very low electricity consumption, the DB9009-RX itself generates negligible heat.

The unit is intended for operation within an ambient temperature range, extending from freezing

to 120°F/50°C. But because adjacent, less efficient equipment may radiate substantial heat, be

sure that the equipment rack is adequately ventilated to keep its internal temperature below the

specified maximum ambient.

Although we have made provision for DB9009-RX installation in the immediate proximity of

broadcast transmitters, please do practice some care using the unit near abnormally high RF fields.
