MOVING AND STORING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
TO ENSURE YOUR APPLIANCE OPERATES CORRECTLY, PLEASE REFER TO THE
INSTALLATION GUIDE SUPPLIED WITH THIS REFRIGERATOR.
If your refrigerator is turned off for any reason, wait 10 minutes before turning it back
on. This will allow the refrigeration system pressures to equalise before restarting.
Moving your refrigerator
Turn off the refrigerator at the isolating switch and unplug from the power point.
●
●
Remove all food.
Clear all debris or unwanted objects surrounding the refrigerator.
●
●
Move the refrigerator gently out of its position.
●
●
Switch off the isolating tap and disconnect the water fittings.
●
●
Tuck away the power cord.
●
●
If possible, use tape to keep the shelves in place and the doors closed.
●
●
If the cabinet is to be laid down or placed at an angle, place it carefully on its side (right
●
●
hand side when viewed from the front).
If the appliance has been lying on its side for some time during transport, stand it
●
●
upright for at least a few hours before switching on.
If the refrigerator has been transported upright, then it can be switched on after
●
●
10 minutes.
Storing your refrigerator
When storing your cleaned refrigerator, leave the doors open. This allows air to circulate
●
●
and prevents the build-up of bacteria and moulds.
Clean your refrigerator before using it again. Use a mixture of warm water and baking
●
●
soda (add 1tsp of baking soda to each 500ml of water). Rinse with clean water.
Holiday/Vacation time
Leave your refrigerator operating while you are on holiday/vacation.
