C. If the wiring harness does not need to be replaced the Litebox may be reassembled as
shown in Section I.
Replacing The Wiring Harness
1. Remove the existing wiring harness.
A . Remove the lamp ring, reflector, and lamp from the Litebox.
B. Loosen and remove the swivel assembly which connects the lamp head to the body.
C. Cut the wire tie fastener which secures the wiring harness to the lamp head.
D. Use wire cutters to cut the wiring harness strain relief base where it passes through the
Litebox housing (see illustration).
E. Desolder and remove the lamp leads from the PC board
F. Discard the old wiring harness.
2. Install the replacement wiring harness (2 wire P/N : 450053 or 3 wire P/N : 450054).
A . Route the wiring harness (slip-on connectors first) through the opening in the Litebox body.
B. Place the strain relief in the opening in the Litebox body.
(note: Apply soapy water to the strain relief to provide lubrication.)
1. Use the strain relief tool (P/N : 450075) to seat the strain relief in place.
