Install the CD Controller Board and Drive
Hitachi CD drives use the same address (300H) in memory as the
OCLC 1/0 Board. You must reset the OCLC 1/0 Board address
when you install a CD controller board. To change the OCLC l/0
Board address, follow the steps in section 3 .1.
After
you
reset the OCLC I/0 Board's synchronous port address, per-
form the following
steps:

Install the CD controller board (section 3.2)
•
Install a Hitachi 3700 CD drive in a case (section 3.3)
•
Replace the
system
unit cover (section
4)
•
Attach cables and power cords (section 5)
•
Run diagnostics
(section
6)
•
Add SETVER to the CONFIG.SYS file (section
7)
•
Install MS-DOS CD-ROM Extensions software (section 8)
•
Reconfigure PASSPORT Software
