carefully pulling it straight
out.

Replace the dust-proof label over the Manual
Emergency
Eject Hole

Turn the drive on and resume your tasks .
10.2 Resolving Other Basic Problems
If
you have a problem other than the CD
caddy
sticking, follow these
steps until you resolve the
problem.

Verify that all cables are properly connected and that all plugs are
firmly
seated in their
sockets.

Verify that the DIP switch settings on the OCLC I/0 Board are cor-
rectly
set.

Verify that the I/0 Board synchronous port address is set correctly
in PASSPORT Software
:
If
you use an M300 I/0 Board without DIP switches, the ad-
dress should be
300.
If
you use an l/0 Board other than an M300 I/0 Board without
DIP
switches,
the address should be 210
.

If
one of the following error conditions or messages occurs with
the Check CD Program 3 .00 take the action indicated:
System lock up-Cold boot (by turning your workstation off and
then on again after 10 seconds)
.
If this does not resolve the prob-
lem,
make sure that your synchronous port address on the OCLC
I/0 Board is set at 210H and your CD controller board and CD
drives are
properly installed.
"Bad Command"--Check the DOS path and command syntax .
"Invalid Parameter"--Check the DOS path and command
syntax.
