ATTACH LEFT SIDE TO BASE and UPPER CROSS MEMBER TO LEFT SIDE:
1.
Take the Left Side of the Smith Machine from the packaging. NOTE: these weldments can be heavy
awkward
and
, (2) people should be used at all time to assemble this unit.
2.
Place the weldments on the base weldments, with one person balancing the unit the other should bolt
the left side to the base.
3.
Using (2) M12 washer PN:731-2519 , and (2) M12 x 30mm Hex Head Bolts PN:731-2418. Bolt the
two weldment together. Tighten fasteners using a 19mm box wrench.
4.
Take the Upper Cross Weldment from the packaging. Slide it into the Left Side Weldment. Note:
There are (6) bolt holes, make sure they line up with the frame.
5.
Using (6) M10 washer PN:731-2547 , and (6) M10 x 15mm Hex Head Bolts PN:731-2450. Bolt the
upper cross member together. Tighten all fasteners using a 16mm box wrench.
