    To change the temperature : Using the "+" and "–" (A) keys, you can raise or lower the temperature setting to reach the desired level of comfort (see page 7). Troubleshooting : See page 12. To contact CONVECTAIR : See page 12.

    - Your new APÉRO is a convection heater designed to heat your room quietly with consistant heat, it is a perfect heater for living spaces, kitchens or other rooms. - Your APÉRO is compatible with the CONVECTAIR Programmer Module (must be connected through the pilot-wire to another Convectair heater equipped with the Programmer module) allowing scheduled temperature set-backs in periods of prolonged absence providing the same comfort and more savings.

    2000 (6 1/8'') Fig. 3B To install the heater at 10 cm (4 in) from the oor ( recommended height by CONVECTAIR) follow these steps: 1- Free mounting brackets by pressing and pulling both locking brackets on the back of the heater (no. 1 Fig. 3A & 3B).

    - Never connect the pilot-wire (purple wire) to the electrical supply nor ground it. - The purple wire with the seal at the extremity should not be used for the electrical connection. It is used only if the heater is connected with the CONVECTAIR Programmer system or the wall mount controller AWC.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Your CONVECTAIR heater operates in short cycles of heating and standby. The red indicator light tells you when the heater is on. The heater will always remain warm and ambient temperature will remain constant. It is normal in very cold temperatures for the heater to become hotter.
  • Page 8 - Turning the thermostat ON or STANDBY To start the heater press the ''MODE'' key. The display will show the current thermostat comfort temperature setting, (for example 19°C ( 66°F )). To place the heater on Standby (no heat), press the ''MODE'' key repeatedly until the display shows “--”.
  • Page 9 - Setback (Economy) Mode In the case of short-term absences (between 2 and 24 hours), it is recommended, for added energy savings to use this mode. When the heater is in EC Mode, it will maintain the temperature at around 3°C ( 5°F) lower than the comfort temperature . Press the ''MODE'' on the display indicating the economy mode is selected.
