To manually turn on the Ingenico Lane/7000:

1. Ensure the power supply unit is not plugged into the mains.
2. Flip the terminal and locate the port on the back for power and communications.
3. Connect the provided cable to the terminal.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to the power supply unit and the host (PC or cash register).
5. Plug the power supply into a mains electrical outlet.

The terminal powers on automatically once it is properly connected to the power supply and plugged into the mains. There is no manual power button mentioned.
