INSTALLING THE BACKSTOP

1. Position the backstop against the
frame so that the slot aligns with
threaded hole in the frame.
2. Secure the backstop to the frame
with 2 x socket head screws and
washers as shown.
• Do not overtighten.
• The gap between the sanding
belt and the backstop should
be no more than 2 mm.

ATTACHING A DUST COLLECTION HOSE

This sander is equipped with a 2½" (60
mm) diameter dust port that can be
connected to a vacuum or dust-
collection system.
1. Place a 2½" ID diameter hose over
the dust port.
Secure the hose in place with a hose
clamp.
