Installation and planning notes Installation requirements The washing machine must be installed and commissioned by a Miele Service technician or by an authorised service technician. The washing machine must be installed in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Local energy and water supplier regulations must also be observed. -

The washing machine must be secured to the plinth immediately after installation! There is a risk of the washing machine falling off a raised plinth during a spin cycle if it is not secured. PW 811 / PW 814 / PW 818... -

Conversion to a different voltage must only be carried out by a Miele Professional Service technician or by an authorised service technician. The wiring instructions given on the wiring diagram must be followed. -

Install the dual check valve provided between the water tap and Y-piece. A Y-piece for connecting two inlet tubes to a single cold water line is supplied. - Page 14 Drain valve A motorised dump valve is used to drain the machine. An HT DN 70 angle connector (not available from Miele) can be used for draining the machine directly into the waste water system (without a siphon) or into an on-site gully (with odour trap).

If opened connections are no longer required, they must be resealed using a suitable sealant (e.g. silicone). Miele as optional accessories for individual target groups. The programming required for connecting a payment system must be carried out by Miele Professional Service or an authorised agent only. A separate electrical connection is not required for a payment system. -
