Creating a Physical Dante Network

A physical network is required to share Dante audio channels among the AXI 22 AT D
devices and other Dante-enabled audio devices such as the DMP 128 AT. Each AXI 22 AT D
connects to the network via its rear panel AT port. The DMP 128 and Net PA connect to the
same network. Dante Controller locates each device.
Figure 12 shows an example of a Dante network to which four AXI 22 interfaces are
connected.

Downloading and Installing Dante Controller for Windows

Dante Controller from Audinate is required to select and route digital inputs and outputs
to connected Dante-compatible devices and for limited configuration of the device.
Install Dante Controller on a PC running Microsoft
about computer requirements, see the product page on the Extron website. To assist
identification of multiple AXI 22 AT D devices on the network, Dante Controller must be
installed to rename the connected AXI 22 AT D. This software application is available at
www.extron.com.
