12. Gently pull the right end of the lamp loose from the lamp bracket
fingers.

13. Gently pull the lamp from its housing.
14. Position the replacement lamp with the clear stripe which runs the
length of the lamp pointing up.
15. Insert the replacement lamp gently into the housing.
16. Press the right end of the lamp gently into the lamp bracket fingers.
17. Lower the right end of the lamp and bracket into the housing.
NOTE: When the lamp is properly positioned to fit into the
housing, the clear stripe should be pointing toward the
back of the machine.
18. Pull up on the lamp release catch to secure the lamp release lever.
19. Replace the rear document guide, holding it by the tabs and gently
guiding it between the feeder cover and the roller which is located
in front of the Document Scanning Array.
20. Replace the roller plate, holding it by the handle and gently guiding
it between the feeder cover and the roller which is located in front
of the Document Scanning Array.
21. Close the front cover.
22. Turn the side panel switch on.
