STEREO REMOTE CONTROL

1 Check:
Fuse 1

2. Measure:
G
Voltage to remote
Out of specification ➔ Inspect harness.
Remote Control Input Voltage
Red(R) ~ Black (B) 12V DC
3. Measure:
G
Voltage from remote (button depressed)
Out of specification ➔ Replace stereo
remote control.
Remote Control Output Voltage
Clear ~ Clear
NOTE:
The remote control output will be a low voltage.
The voltage will pulse 1 time or puse repeated-
ly depending on which button on the remote is
depressed.
4. Access:
G
Remove remote control assembly.
Refer to "Remote Control Unit System"
in Chapter 8.
