Emphasize white clouds, the
green of trees, or other colors in
monochrome images.
N: Normal black-and-white image
with no filter effects.
Ye: The blue sky will look more
natural, and the white clouds will
look crisper.

darker. The sunset will look more
brilliant.
R: The blue sky will look quite dark.
Fall leaves will look crisper and
brighter.
G: Skin tones and lips will appear
muted. Green tree leaves will

In [Sharpness], [Fineness] and [Threshold] settings are not applied to

To undo any changes after adjusting Picture Styles, touch
[Default set.].
[Filter effect] results are more noticeable with higher [Contrast] values.
Saving Customized Picture Styles
Picture Styles that you have added to the camera using EOS Utility
can also be modified.

Focusing

Shooting in Manual Focus Mode
[MF] is displayed in manual focus mode.
Magnification can be switched between 1x (no magnification), 5x, and
10x by turning the
dial during magnified display.
To adjust the focus, turn the lens focusing ring as you watch the
magnified image.
The magnification ratio can be adjusted by touching [ ] in the lower
right, and you can drag to move the area magnified.
Fine-Tuning the Focus
When you are finished adjusting the focus with the AF+MF feature by
holding the shutter button halfway down as you turn the lens focusing
ring, lift your finger off the shutter button.
[AF+MF] focus adjustment is not available in Servo AF mode.
[AF+MF] focus adjustment is not available with lenses other than EF-M
lenses.
Easily Identifying the Focus Area (MF Peaking)
Colors displayed for MF peaking are not recorded in your shots.
