Do not over tighten the clips.
You need to carry out a water test and adjust the clips on the rear hatch before you attempt to fly
over water. Please refer to page 12 for instructions.
Installing flight batteries
Batteries must be fully charged before using for the first time. Refer to your charger manual for
safety and charging guidelines.
Your aircraft's power lead is supplied with a twin XT60 adapter which is accessible via the rear hatch.
If you have purchased flight batteries from QuadH2O, they will be supplied with the correct connector
type.
Take the two supplied strips of black Velcro and fit one strip to the underside of each battery. There
are two strips of Velcro on the floor of the aircraft which allow you to secure the batteries in place.
Velcro is used as it allows small adjustments to be made in order to ensure the aircraft is well
balanced. This is especially useful when carrying payloads.
Attaching the DJI quick-release propellers
The DJI Quick-Release propeller features greatly enhance the reliability of the propeller during the
flight.
They are designed in such a way that it is not possible to fit them to the incorrect motor / motor
rotation.
To install the propeller align the hook (A) on the propellers with the securing spring (B), then press
down the propeller onto the mounting plate, then rotate the propellers according to the lock direction:
until it is secured.
For your safety, never power on the aircraft with the propellers fitted unless outdoors in a wide
open space. Firmware updates, compass calibrations and bench testing should be completed
with the propellers OFF. Please refer to the DJI N3 Disclaimer and Safety Guidelines for more
information.
