Caller ID
Caller ID operation
Using the telephone base:
1. Select a desired entry in the caller ID log (see Review the caller ID log on
page 98).
2. When the desired entry appears, press SAVE.
3. Press or
CID
telephone base displays EDIT NUMBER.
4. Use the dialing keys to edit the number.
Press

Press X/DELETE or
f
Press and hold X/DELETE to erase the entire entry.

5. Press NEXT. The telephone base displays EDIT NAME.
6. Use the dialing keys (page 89) to edit the name.

Press 0 to add a space.

Press X/DELETE or
f
Press and hold X/DELETE to erase all characters.

Press # (pound key) to move the last word to the front. For example, Johnson
f
Charlie becomes Charlie Johnson when you press # (pound key).
7. Press SAVE to confirm. The telephone base shows Saved to allow list.
Save a caller ID log entry to the block list
Using a cordless handset:
1. Select a desired entry in the caller ID log (see Review the caller ID log on
page 98).
2. When the desired entry appears, press SAVE.
3. Press or

displays EDIT NUMBER.
4. Use the dialing keys to edit the number.
