  • Page 30 Access blower wire leads. Remove 2 insulation connectors from blower wire leads. Route the blower wire through the rear hole of the housing (Figure 5 and 6). Snap bushing over blower wire and press into rear hole of housing. Place blower housing close to the rear of the appliance. Route wire through hole in blower housing and connect the spade connectors to blower (Figure 7).

In the absence of local codes, use the current CSA C22.1 Canadian electrical code in Canada or the ANSI/NFPA national electrical code in the United States.     CONTINUOUS PILOT / INTERMITTENT PILOT (CPI / IPI) SELECTION Use the Mode Key to guide you to the CPI mode icon. Transmitter in the OFF position. °F °F Press the UP/DOWN to switch between IPI and CPI modes. A single BEEP will confi rm reception of the command.

    8.10 LOW BATTERY / MANUAL BYPASS The life span of the remote batteries depends on various factors: quality of the °F batteries, the number of ignitions, the number of changes to the room thermostat set point, etc. When the transmitter batteries are low, a Battery Icon will appear on the LCD display before all battery power is lost.

    9.0 ADJUSTMENT RESTRICTING VERTICAL VENTS Vertical installations may display a very active flame. Loosen the two screws and slide the restrictor plate block- ing the exhaust path. This reduces the velocity of the exhaust gases, slowing down the flame pattern and creat- ing a more traditional flame appearance.
