Section 3 - Configuration
The MAC (Media Access Controller) Address Filter option is used to control network access based on the MAC address of the network adapter. A
MAC address is a unique ID assigned by the manufacturer to the network adapter. This feature can be configured to allow or network/Internet access.
MAC Address
Tick this box to enable MAC Filtering.
Control:
Check the box to allow wireless and wired clients with C selected
Connection
to connect to this device. You can also select to allow or deny
Control:
connections from unspecified MAC addresses.
Check the box to allow wireless clients with A selected to associate
Association
with the wireless LAN. You can also select to allow or deny
Control:
connections from unspecified MAC addresses.
MAC FILTERING RULES
ID:
This identifies the rule.
MAC Address:
Specify the MAC address of the computer to be filtered.
C:
If this box is ticked, the rule will follow the connection control
setting specified in MAC filtering settings specified above.
A:
If this box is ticked, the rule will follow the association control
setting specified in MAC filtering settings specified above.
Click Apply to save your settings, or Refresh to revert to your
previous settings.
