3 .17 Perform ACAL on the TI before beginning calibration by pressing the TI keys in the following sequence:

3458 is the Security Code for the TI when shipped from the manufacturer . If
the Security Code has been changed, that Security Code will be entered in its
place . If the TI has been unsecured, the Security Code will not be entered.
Refer to the TI Calibration Manual, Chapter 1, for more information.
3 .18 Set the TI for DCV, 8 digit display and NPLC at 100 by pressing the TI keys in the following sequence:

3 .19 Connect a low thermal short (12 to 14 Gauge solid copper wire) across the Tl Input and SI Sense HI and LO
terminals, allow 5 minutes for stabilization.
3 .20 Set the TI to each range listed in the Range column of Table 2.
3 .21 The TI should indicate within the corresponding values listed in the Limits column of Table 2.

3 .22 If the TI DC Voltage zero is >90% of the value listed in the Limits column of Table 2 on any range, enter a
K action in the Maintenance Data Collection System . If the TI DC Voltage zero is <_90% of the value listed in the
Limits column of Table 2 on all ranges, performing the following TI CAL 0 steps is not a K action.
NOTE
The TI zero offset adjustment (CAL 0) should be performed individually for
both front and rear terminals . Once CAL 0 has started, move away from
the TI very slowly until the TI is done (about 5 minutes) . If drafts exist, it may
be necessary to cover the TI INPUT terminals.
3 .23 Set the TI to execute CAL 0 by pressing the TI keys in the following sequence:
