Only use forward-facing with
children:
Who are at least three years of
•
age and
who weigh between 22 lbs.
•
and 106 lbs. (10-48 kg) and
who are 56 inches (142 cm) or
•
less in height and
when the top of the child's ears
•
are below the top of the child
restraint shell (Fig. A) and
when the H-harness straps are
•
located in the nearest slots at
or above the child's shoulders.
IMPORTANT: See Securing Your
Child on page 24-25
WARNING! Do NOT use the child
restraint if any of the following
apply:
the child is less than three
•
years of age or
the child is less than 22 lbs.
•
(10 kg) in weight or
the child exceeds 106 lbs.
•
(48 kg) in weight or
the child exceeds 56 inches
•
(142 cm) in height or
the top of the ears are above
•
the top of the child restraint
shell (Fig. B) or
the harness straps are in slots
•
below the child's shoulders.
