    ADJUSTMENTS MOW SPEED _____________________________________________________________ Cutting quality is better at speeds well below the transport speed of the mower. An initial mow speed of five to six mph is set at the factory and should be satisfactory for most cutting conditions. Local turf conditions however may respond better to a different speed.
