    FEATURES The Nettuna 7000 Open System architecture is based on 3 boards : PC Board , I/O ports, Printer Board. The mass storage is a SSD (solid state disk) of 32 Gb, the display is a colour TFT 10.1 inch 1024 x 600 dots resolution, the touch screen controller is a 4 wires resistive, the thermal printhead has 576 dots with print width of 72 mm, the customer display is an alphanumeric 20 characters x 2 lines.

    Chapter 2 - INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. Install the cash register in a safe, sufficiently-ventilated environment, within easy reach but protected from unauthorised use and jolts. 2. Load the paper roll as described in the section “LOADING THE RECEIPT PAPER ROLL”...

  • Page 28 Move the green regulation lever (1) towards the front of the cash register to receive earlier notification (i.e. for larger diameter cores). Move the lever towards the rear of the cash register to receive later notification (i.e. for smaller diameter cores). Figure 2-5 Reinsert the paper roll.

Position the adapter with the reference points oriented as indicated in the figure.     If you use a 80 mm roll after having used rolls of sizes 57.5 mm or 60 mm on the printer, it is no longer possible to guarantee that a good quality of printing can be achieved. This is because, when printing, the contrast obtained from the part of the head not used by the smaller rolls, may be uneven.

  • Page 33: Chapter 3 - Module Disassembly

    Chapter 3 – MODULE DISASSEMBLY All the operations described in this chapter must be carried out with the machine disconnected from the power supply. DISASSEMBLING THE UPPER BODY Open the paper roll compartment and remove the paper roll carrying out in reverse order the procedure described in section “LOADING THE RECEIPT PAPER ROLL”.

Disconnect all the Printer Board connectors indicated by the arrows and the printer earth faston (all the cable references and functions are described in the chapter “PRINTER BOARD”).
  • Page 49 Remove the board from its bay. During the reassembly phase put the cables back into position carefully with the correct layout. After replacing the Printer Board, you must always calibrate the photosensors of the Printer Group and the Touch Screen using the Diagnostics Tool “DiagNettuna7000I 1.00.04.0.2”, or later versions.

    DISASSEMBLING THE RAM MEMORY AND THE PC BOARD 1. Disassemble the upper body as described in the chapter “DISASSEMBLING THE UPPER BODY”. 2. At this point, you can extract the RAM Memory card from its connector applying pressure to the retaining springs at each end (1) in the directions indicated by the arrows.

Disconnect all the Printer Unit connectors indicated by the arrows and the earth faston (all the cable references and functions are described in the chapter “PRINTER BOARD”).
  • Page 54 During the reassembly phase you must make sure that the Printer Unit is positioned correctly on the bottom of the cash register. This is true when the two reference pins (shown in the two expanded views) on the casing enter into their respective holes (2) and (3) on the bottom.     Chapter 4 - PRINTING UNIT DISASSEMBLY The Printing Unit mounted on the Nettuna 7000 Open does not support a Cable Holder. Therefore the steps described in this chapter for disassembling and reassembling the Cable Holder are not applicable and should be ignored.
